What product are used to produce the moulds?

Alginate is a material widely used by Dentist to produce a mould of your mouth.  This is a seaweed based product and is by definition non-allergic as is has to be used safely in patients mouths of all ages.  You will also find Alginate in certain food types and food manufacturing.  Alginate is the only product used to take mouldings for 3D Castings.  Artist fine clay is used to take moulds for the raised impression products.

How long will it take before my castings are ready for collection

Your castings will be ready for collection 4-5 weeks from the time of your appointment.  You will be contacted by text or email during this time and a collection time will be arranged.

How long does it take to get a mould?

The actual moulding process will take no longer than 1-2 minutes per mould.  Once the Alginate has set your little ones hand or foot is easily wriggled out with no fuss at all.
